The Longhorns came out strong Thursday night as they faced off against the Hastings Bears. Xavian Marks showed his speed as he raced to the end zone for a 58-yard touchdown run in the first quarter and gave the Longhorns their first score of the night. In the second quarter, QB Timon Nolan threw a 78-yard touchdown pass to Xavian Marks giving him his second touchdown of the night and giving Nolan his first touchdown pass of the season. X. Marks finished the night with 4 touchdowns and a total of 249yards. Collins Kwabena also scored a touchdown in the second quarter giving the Longhorns a 29-7 lead. The defense also played great by holding Hastings to only one score on the night. Afred Wande, Tsola Efejuku, Brian Blunt, Chris Greer, Reggie Solomon, Torin Marks, Justin Whitley, KeKe Kinglsey, Zach Flessner, Bradley Luvender, Ladontia Jones, Josh Okonye, Jeremy Gray, and Josh Etinfoh played well on the defensive side of the ball.
