JV Black- The JV Black football team played the Foster Falcons last night and defeated them 26-6. Tyler Lott took the opening kickoff back for the game’s first score. Aaron Valencia added to the lead with a 20-yard catch for a touchdown. Blake Davenport also scored for the Longhorns. The defense played great holding the Falcons to only 6 points all night.
JV Maroon- The JV Maroon football team traveled to Angleton last night and came away with a hard fought 8-6 win over the Wildcats. Michael Orhii scored the lone touchdown of the game for the Horns with a 3-yard run in the 4th quarter. Orhii then caught the 2-point conversion on a well-thrown pass from Alex Chartier. The defense was led by Vincent Davis, Amir Mitchell, and Tyler Richards. The win improves the Horns’ record to 5-2 on the season.
