The Longhorns have lost close games all season, but on Friday night they were able to win one against the number 5-ranked 4A football team in the state!   In the first quarter Timon Nolan threw a touchdown to sophomore running back Xavian Marks for the first touchdown of the night.   In the second quarter Collins Kwabena showed his speed as he ran for the second touchdown on a 46-yard touchdown run.   By the end of the 3rd quarter the Longhorns were down 14-12, and the Wildcats increased their lead in the 4th quarter, but the Longhorns fought back by scoring two touchdowns on passes from quarterback Timon Nolan to Xavian Marks and Thomas Donahue.   Timon Nolan’s poise and courage was evident in his play the entire night.   The Longhorns pulled it off with a thrilling 24-21 victory in the last minute of the game.   Join the Longhorns this week as we face off against the Lamar Mustangs at Traylor stadium for PINK OUT!
