The Longhorn volleyball teams traveled to Brazosport to take on the Lady Exporters. All three teams came up with a victory.
The freshman volleyball team defeated Brazosport in 2. The JV squad also won in 2 with scores of 25-4, 25-9. The varsity team came up with a huge win over the Lady Exporters with scores of 25-16, 25-10, and 25-15. Kill leader for the Longhorns was Brennan Flannery with 13 kills. Ellie Gonzales led the offensive attack with 12 assists, followed by Allison Lanik with 7 and Tori Luckenbill with 2. Defensively, Gabby Hernandez produced 17 digs, while Allison Lanik added 12 digs for the Longhorns. At the net, Callie Tiemann produced 5 blocks. Service ace leader was Ellie Gonzales with 4 aces. The Longhorns are back in action this Friday here at Longhorn gym as they take on the Angleton Lady Cats at 5:00 and 6:00pm. Good luck!
