The Freshman girls’ basketball team defeated the Ridge Point Panthers last night by a score of 37-16. The team was down at the end of the first quarter but came storming back to win by 20 points. The top scorers of the night were Rita Okoye with 9 points, Kearah Nails with 7, and Chinwe Eke with 6. Defensive standouts were Donelle Wande and Milan Nguyen. The freshmen will try to go 3-0 with their first home game on Friday against Tomball Memorial.
