The Longhorn JV Girls golf team spent Monday enjoying the beautiful weather at Sienna Plantation Golf Club. Sophomore Haley Foster shot a personal best round of 99 to finish in 8th place overall. This was the first time Haley has ever broken 100 and is a huge accomplishment! Sophomore Kylie Clark posted a solid score of 113, which included 3 pars. And, in their first competitive golf tournaments, Zarina Trevino and Kylie Veraldi carded rounds of 122 and 127, respectively. As a team, the Longhorns’ total of461 earned them 5th place in the competition. The JV Girls golf schedule will pick back up in the spring. Great job, ladies!
