The Longhorns came out strong for their season finale against Bay City. The offense was led by Kwabena Collins. Collins rushed for 120 yards on the ground, and he scored 3 rushing touchdowns and 1 pass reception for a touchdown from sophomore quarterback Timon Nolan. Mark Horst, Austin Burden, and Russel Orhii also scored touchdowns Friday night. The defense also played strong on Friday. Sophomore safety Melton Finley recorded his first interception of the season and had a total of six tackles. The final score was Longhorns 56, Bay City 16. Despite missing the playoffs this year, the Longhorns have a bright future ahead them. Good job, Longhorns, and let’s get ready for next year!!
