The Longhorn varsity men and women competed this past weekend at the 32-team Cy-Ridge classic. This tournament featured some of the best 5A teams in the area including teams from as far away as Fort Worth. The men’s team finished in 16th place overall with Chris Greer placing 4th in his weight class. The women’s team finished 19th overall with Loren Braun placing 6th in her weight class. This week the JV will be competing on Wednesday at Terry HS, and the Varsity will be hosting their first home event on Thursday at 5:00pm.
