Varsity – The Varsity boys’ basketball team lost a tough game against the Lamar Mustangs on Friday night. Timon Nolan and Andre Brown led the team offensively in their first Varsity game. The team plays at home against Brazosport on Friday.
JV – The JV boys’ basketball team defeated the Lamar Mustangs 69-55. The team was led by Reggie Solomon‘s defense and intensity. Trey Delasbour played well on the offensive end scoring 17 points. This brings the team’s district record to 6-1.
Freshman A – The Freshman A boys’ basketball team defeated the Lamar Mustangs 59-34. The team was down by 3 in the 3rd quarter and went on a 30-0 run to take over the game. Chris Oliver and D.J. Thomas led the team offensively with great scoring. Darius Anderson also played well all game. This brings the team’s overall record to 17-5 and district record to 7-0.
Freshman B – The Freshman B played against Lamar on Friday night and won 57-11. The scoring was led by Joshua Scruggs with 23 points. The defense was led by Neil Ventura and Josh Stephens.
