Varsity – The Varsity boys’ basketball team lost a hard fought game to the Terry Rangers by a score of 74-67. The team led most of the game and could not hold on to the lead. Kingsley Keke dominated the entire game and led the team with 28 points.
JV – The JV boys’ basketball team defeated the Terry Rangers 62-51. Timon Nolan and Evan Murray led the team all game. Korey Joseph brought energy and scored 20 points. This brings the team’s district record to 5-1.
Freshman A – The Freshman A boys’ basketball defeated the Terry Rangers 54-41. This was the battle of the 1st and 2nd place teams in district, and the Longhorns had the lead from the tip off. Chris Oliver ran the team all game. Brandon Franklin helped out with 12 points. Myles Wells and D.J. Thomas all played great defense and had great energy all game. This brings the team’s overall record to 15-5 and district record to 6-0.
