JV – The JV boys’ soccer team defeated Navasota last night with a shut-out score of 3-0. Julian Centeno scored 2 goals and Daniel Eke scored 1. Outstanding defensive play came from sweeper Ali Hasan and goalkeeper Mario Rodriguez.
Varsity – The varsity boys’ soccer team improved to 4-3-1 on the season with a 1-0 victory over Navasota last night. Matt Vasquez scored the unassisted goal on a corner kick. The Horns’ defense posted its 3rd shutout of the season. The Horns open district play on Friday at home against Ft. Bend Marshall. Kickoff is set for 6:00pm.
