The Longhorn wrestling teams traveled to Morton Ranch HS this past Saturday to compete in the Knockout Sportswear Stampede.
Women – The women’s team finished fifth overall with two medalists. Loren Braun placed 2nd and Alexandra Sanchez placed 3rd.
Varsity – The men’s team finished sixth overall and had one medalist. Jakob Marine finished in 2nd place. Also placing for the men were Josh Marine and Michael Orhii in 4th. While Garrett Brinneman, Joey Minkel and Ryan Tse placed 6th.
JV – In the JV division Michael Sosnowski, Daniel Valdez and Cody Lavoi placed 1st; Jalin King and J.D. Pope placed 2nd; Donell Brager placed 3rd; Hunter Jessup, Carter Feldhoff and Charles Mudd placed 4th; and Colin Flannery placed 6th. The Longhorns will be at home on Wednesday at 5:00 for a JV extravaganza.
