Varsity -The Varsity baseball team continued with the Woodlands Tournament this past Friday and Saturday. The Longhorns came away with a 2-2 record against some good 5A teams. On Friday the Longhorns faced Klein Collins and came away with a 6-1 loss. Blake Sisco and Lorenzo Palomares both had doubles. On Saturday the Longhorns played a close game but lost to the Woodlands 5-4. Will Gay had a solo homerun while Sisco, Chad Romere, Palomares, and Stone Garrett each had singles. Later on Saturday the Longhorns faced Kinkaid and came away with a 6-2 win. Grant Page threw a complete game with 5 strikeouts. Offensively, Alex Shaver and Cameron Boudreaux both had triples, Gay had a double, Sisco, Boudreaux, and Garrett each had hits. The Varsity will host a tournament here at the Ranch beginning on Thursday. Come out and support the Longhorns!

JV Maroon – The JV Maroon baseball team split a double header Friday night vs. Strake Jesuit, winning the first game 5-0 and losing the second game 3-6. Cole Morgan picked up the win in the first game, combining with Sarah Hudek to shutout the Crusaders. Gabe Rodriguez and Will Clark pitched well in the second game, but the Longhorns could not stop a late rally by Strake. Kevin Kopps, Brady Burns, and Mitchell North all had multiple hits on the evening.

JV Black– The JV Black team participated in the Fort Bend Baseball Tournament. The team played well and went 1-2. Carson McManus and Chase Appleby led the team offensively, while Mason Grant and Christian Elizondo also played well.
