Freshman B – The freshman B team played against Terry for the last game of the season and won 53-29. The defense came out and created many turnovers. The scoring was led by Josh Scruggs and Mikel Onu both with 17 points, followed by Justin Joyner with 10 points. The defense was led by Kachi Ngawa and Casey Knodel. The team played well all season and finished as the undefeated District Champs at 6-0 in district and 11-1 overall.
Freshman A – The freshman A team finished a great season by defeating the Terry Rangers 59-52 to become the District Champions. D.J. Thomas and Brandon Franklin led the team with great scoring all night. Myles Wells, Darius Anderson and Mason Ameen had great hustle on defense and rebounding. Myles Thompson, Tadrian Gayden and Chinedu Okoye all had great energy for the team. Chris Oliver had the crowd cheering all night with his great dribbling. The team finished the season 20-6 overall and 11-1 in district.
JV – The JV boys’ basketball team lost a hard fought game to the Terry Rangers last night. Evan Murray led the team with his strong play inside. The boys finished with a 10-2 district record and were District Champions.
Varsity – The varsity basketball team was defeated by the Terry Rangers in the last game of the year. Kingsley Keke and Korey Joseph led the team with their strong play all night. The team would like to thank all the parents and fans that came out to support them. A special thanks to the two seniors Jacque Ketchum and Jeremy Glenn for all that they have meant to the program. We know that they will be successful in whatever they do.
