JV – The JV boys started off district play Tuesday night against Terry High School with a tie of 1-1. Roman Olivo scored a solo goal off a 20-yard direct kick. Outstanding play also came from goalkeeper Mario Rodriguez with 7 saves.
Varsity – The varsity boys’ soccer team went to Terry on Tuesday night and lost a heartbreaker by a score of 3-2. Ryan Grissett scored the first goal just 2 minutes into the game. Kenneth Solis scored the other goal on a penalty kick. The Longhorns are off until next Tuesday when they host Willowridge.
