JV – The JV Longhorns brought down the house with a huge win of 52-28. This win makes the JV Longhorns District Runner-Up!! High scorers for the Longhorns on the night were Savannah Brown with 10, Shavon Pittman with 9, Chigozie Ogbonna 8, and Cerenitee Adams with 6. Playing great defense was Hanna Morales, Ezinne Ekee and Chinwe Ekee. Thank you for a great season, Longhorns! Work hard in the off-season, and be ready for the District Championship next year!!
Varsity – The Varsity Longhorns lost a heartbreaker to the Bay City Lady Blackcats by a score of 34-32. High point scorers for the Longhorns were Olivia West with 13 and Ashley Ng with 6. Rachel Loosbrock brought the score to within 2 points with 12 seconds to go with a long 3-point shot. Defensive standouts were Rita Okoye and Aaliyah Brown. Seniors playing their final game for the Longhorns were two-year lettermen Rachel Loosbrock, Aaliyah Brown, and Alima Bangura. Thanks for a great three-year run, seniors, and thank you to all the ladies in the program for great a season!
