JV – Hats off to the JV girls’ soccer team who continued its winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Ridge Point on Friday night. Colleen Janacek and Sydney Heikkila scored for the Longhorns. Nicki Albaran came up big in the goal, blocking a PK to keep the net clean. This win increases their record to 8-0 overall and 2-0 in district play.
Varsity – The varsity girls dropped a tightly contested game 2-1 to the Ridge Point Panthers. Julia Linton scored the lone goal for the Longhorns. The team came to life in the second half, only to run out of time in their pursuit of victory. This loss puts the Longhorns’ record at 14-3 overall and 3-1 in district.
