JV – Congratulations to the girls’ JV soccer team. After a 2-week layoff, they finally returned to action with a 7-0 victory over the Willowridge Eagles. Ally Dernehl, Colleen Janecek, Sydney Heikella, Maddie Nicholson, and Cerenette Adams all scored for the Longhorns. This brings the JV’s record to 7-0.
Varsity – Varsity also had a solid win over the Eagles. Haley Hartnett, Kathryn Thaxton, Julia Linton, Shreya Desai, and Courtney Buchanan all scored for the Longhorns. Danielle Martinez and Raven Towns both played solid defense. The team remains undefeated in district play heading into a huge showdown this Friday at home versus Ridge Point.
