The boys’ varsity golf team played in the Fort Bend ISD Invitational at Greatwood Golf Club on Friday and Saturday against a field made up of the best 5A programs from Fort Bend and Katy. Junior Zach Mull tied a school record with a second round 74 to go with his 75 on day one to finish in 2nd place out of 80 golfers. Juniors Mull, Will Ward, 84-81, Manuel Londono, 83-84, Paul Ferrette, 83-90 and sophomore Bobby Vega, 93-87 finished the tournament in 6th place out of 15 teams with scores of 326 both days for a total of 652 besting district rival Foster by 80 shots.
