This past weekend, the Longhorn tennis team traveled to Ft. Bend ISD to compete with the best tennis teams in the area. The athletes showed great heart and determination in all of their matches. Winning first place in dominating fashion were Michael and Ally Maciel in Mixed Doubles and Alessandra Jara in girls’ singles. Losing in the semifinal round were Bryce Davis, Ashley Cavazos, Anna Joy Jackson and Gina Bautista. Other strong showings were Michael Ballone, Eric Beckenbach, Camille Saha, Eric Duesterhoft, Kenneth Cunningham, Haley Schulte, Rachel Dziuk, Tyler Fuqua, and Jessica Amores.
