Varsity – The Varsity boys’ soccer team played very well on Friday but lost to Terry 2-1. Kenneth Solis scored the goal for the Horns. Ulisee Minero, Luke Hogaboom, and Philip Garza led the defensive effort. The Horns have a bye on Tuesday before traveling to Willowridge on Friday.
JV – The JV boys’ soccer team played a tough game against Terry High School Friday night. The game resulted in a loss of 2 to 3. Scoring for the Longhorns were Clarence Clark with an assist from Mason Mercado, and Gerardo Ventura with an assist from Markail Carron. A phenomenal game was played by goalkeeper Mario Rodriguez and defenders Ajani Stewart, Ali Hassan, James Poche, Taylor Jacko, and Addison Zody.
