Boys Varsity – The Longhorn boys’ golf team set a new school team record with a score of 307 and won 1st place at the LCISD district preview at River Pointe. Paul Ferrette finished in 1st place with his round of 73, and Zach Mull finished 2nd with a 75. Bobby Vega-79, Manuel Londono-80 and Will Ward-86 helped win the gold medals.

Boys 2nd Varsity – The boys’ 2nd varsity team finished in 4th place as a team with a score of 344. Cameron Crabtree-80 and Trey Pearson-82 led the way, and medalist Drew Hartman shot an 85.

Girls Varsity – The girls’ varsity took 2nd place, losing out on the gold by one shot. Nicki Oesch led the way with her 86, which was good for 2nd place individually. Grace Kolacny-97, Katelyn Spaulding-98, Kara Ferguson-102, Aubrie Luckenbill-110, and Haley Foster-110 rounded out the scoring.

The golf teams will play next in the district tournament on April 10th and 11th at River Pointe.
