Girls’ Varsity – The girls’ varsity golf team took second place in the district 23-4A tournament, qualifying for the region 3 tournament in Huntsville for the second year in a row. Nicki Oesch finished the tournament in second place overall with rounds of 78 and 84. Oesch, Haley Foster (4th overall), Kara Ferguson (5th overall) Katelyn Spaulding (6th overall), Grace Kolacny (7th overall) and Aubrie Luckenbill earned the trip to Huntsville next week with team scores of 393 and 413. Congratulations, ladies!

Boys’ Varsity – The boys’ varsity team won the 23-4A district championship beating second place Foster by 42 shots. The team of Zach Mull, Paul Ferrette, Manuel Londono, Will Ward, and Bobby Vega posted team scores of 311 on day one and 312 on day two to take the crown. Junior Zach Mull won the district championship for the second year in a row with rounds of 79 and 72. Junior Paul Ferrette finished in second place overall with scores of 76 and 78, and junior Manuel Londono finished in third place overall with rounds of 75 and 80 meaning the boys brought home all of the individual medals. They will play in the region tournament on Wednesday and Thursday in Huntsville.

Boys’ Second Varsity – The second varsity team finished in 4th place overall in district. The team was made up of Trey Pearson, Drew Hartman, Chase Walker, Cameron Crabtree, Trey French, and Matthew Mills.
