JV – The Longhorns fell short on Tuesday against the Angleton Wildcats 12-2, on a night where George Ranch committed 7 errors. Ours runs came when Lauren Chubon and Cienna Cantu scored on a single by Perrie Fraiser.
Varsity – Brittney Morse did all she could to give the Longhorns a boost, but it wasn’t enough to get past Angleton, as George Ranch lost 3-1 in seven innings at Angleton on Tuesday. It was a good day at the plate for Morse, who went 2 for 3 and drove in one run. Natasha Cabucio baffled Angleton, striking out eight batters. Cabucio allowed two earned runs on three hits and three walks over six innings. Stephanie Money put down a beautiful sacrifice bunt in the 1st inning and had a single in the 6th. George Ranch plays Lamar this Friday at home. Hope to see you there!
