Last Tuesday and Wednesday, the tennis team traveled to Willis, TX, for the Region 3 4A tournament. George Ranch was represented by Alessandra Jara, Michael Ballone, Eric Beckenbach, Michael Maciel, and Ally Maciel. Alessandra lost a tough match in the semifinals to Montgomery. Michael Ballone and Eric Beckenbach came home with third place medals in boys’ doubles. Michael and Ally Maciel placed second and earned a trip to Austin to compete in the state tournament.
