The Varsity baseball team took on the Lamar Mustangs this past Friday and came away with an 11-1 win in 5 innings. Chad Romere started on the mound going 3 innings allowing only 3 hits while striking out 4. Nick Nowak came in for the last two innings with only 1 hit and striking out 3. The offense was led by Blake Sisco who was 2 for 3 at the plate, Stone Garrett who was 2 for 4 with a homerun, and Romere who helped himself by going 2 for 4 with a double and 4 RBI’s. The win puts the team at 7-1 in district play as they host Brazosport on Friday.
