Girls – Freshman Tenzin Palkyi tied for first place in the girls division in her first high school tournament with her round of 82. Tenzin tied the district champion from last year but fell to her in a sudden-death playoff on the second hole. Junior Aubrie Luckenbill finished 12th place overall with her round of 106. The shot of the day was made by junior Kylie Clark who holed out from the bunker for par on the 9th hole.

Boys – Freshman Marcus Lopez won his first high school tournament by making birdies on the last two holes to shoot a 2-over par 73. Senior Paul Ferrette finished in second place with a 3-over par 74. Sophomore Brian Noh-78, senior Manuel Londono-79 and sophomore Drew Hartman-81 also finished in the top ten and won medals. Freshman Zane Warren-82, senior Will Ward-83, junior Ross Johansen-83, senior Zach Mull-84, and junior Chase Walker-85 all finished in the top 20.  The Longhorn boys took 10 out of the top 19 spots.   Great job, Longhorns!
