It was a close one on Friday night against the Lamar Mustangs, but the mighty Longhorns came out on top. It was an offensive battle all night with big play after big play. Timon Nolan led the way by throwing for 250 yards and 3 touchdowns. Nolan also ran for 2 touchdowns giving him a total of 5 for the night. Xavian Marks had a breakout game by catching 6 passes for 194 yards and 3 touchdowns. Stone Harris also had a solid game by catching 3 passes for 41 yards. The end was result was your Longhorns 35, the Mustangs 28. The Horns have a bye this week, but they’ll continue district action next week on Friday, November 1 at Brazosport.
