JV – The JV Longhorn girls’ basketball team defeated the Angleton Wildcats in a Tuesday night matchup by a score of 44-27. The Longhorns were led by Shavon Pittman with 12 points and Savannah Brown with 6.
Varsity – The Varsity girls fell to the Wildcats in a close 43-41 battle. The Longhorns were down by 6 at the half but fought to tie the game in the 3rd, 30 to 30. Although we outscored the Wildcats by one point in the fourth, it was not enough to capture the win. Olivia West led with 12 points while Lauren Boyd and Alexis White both had 6. The Longhorns will play here at the Ranch on Friday vs. the Lamar Mustangs. Freshman and JV at 3:00 and Varsity at 4:30.
