The girls’ basketball teams traveled to Brazosport last night.
Freshman – The Freshman team defeated Brazosport 35 to 20. Precious Ike contributed 15 points to the win.
JV – The Junior Varsity also defeated the Exporters by a score of 44-23. Contributing to the winning score was Chinwe Eke with 12 and Leneece Haynes with 11 points.
Varsity – The Varsity team got out on a good start against the district leaders only trailing by 3 at the half with a score of 16-19. The Longhorns were outscored 18-4 in the third, therefore falling to the Lady Exporters by a score of 30-45. Olivia West lead with 11 points and Alexis White with 7 points and 11 rebounds. The Longhorns will continue their playoff quest against the Bay City Blackcats here at the Ranch on Friday.
