The Longhorn girls’ basketball JV and Varsity teams traveled to Bay City last night to take on the Blackcats in their last district match up of the season.
JV – The JV team beat the Blackcats by a score of 38-31. Emma Carleson led with 14 points, and Shavon Pittman had 6. The JV team was 10-0 in district and the 23-4A District champs.
Varsity – The Varsity Longhorns finished the season on a high note pulling off a 57-50 win. Julia Schwake led the team with 20 points, while Alexis White rounded out double-digit scoring with 13. Kearah Nails and Enaya White scored season highs to help the Longhorns secure the win. The varsity finishes 11-14 on the season and 4-8 in district play. Great job, girls!
