The 4-0 Longhorns hosted the 4-0 Foster Falcons this past Friday and came away with a 5-4 victory in 8 innings. Cameron Boudreaux blasted a solo homerun in the first inning to get the Longhorns on the board. The Falcons scratched out a run to leave the score 1-1 before an hour-long lightening delay. The Falcons went up 3-1 in the 3rd and held that lead until the 6th inning. Stone Garrett blasted a 3-run bomb to give the Longhorns the go-ahead 4-3. Foster managed to scratch out another run in the 7th to tie the game and send it to extra innings. With an intentional walk to Garrett, Kyle Owen singled, and Brady Burns walked to load the bases for Kevin Kopps to hit the walk-off single. The Longhorns improve to 5-0 in district play as they take on Terry this Tuesday. Thanks to all the fans that came out and returned after the long delay!
