JV Black – The JV Black baseball team defeated the Foster Falcons on Tuesday night by a score of 4-2. The Longhorns were led by strong pitching for Colson Kostelnik and Will Loyd. The Longhorns also received clutch two-out hitting from Jeremiah Santana and Kyle Curtis. The Longhorns will face the Terry Rangers tonight at Ranger field.
JV Maroon – The JV Maroon baseball team lost to Foster on Tuesday night by a score of 5-3. Ryan Harris and Cody Tiemann combined for 9 strikeouts over 7 innings and allowed only 4 hits, but 4 lead-off walks proved to be too much to overcome for the Longhorns. Daniel Boehm led the offense with a double, 2 RBIs, and 2 walks in 4 at bats. The team’s record moves to 17-2 on the season as they prepare for their final game tonight against Terry.
