Varsity – Varsity softball refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early, recording a 20-2 victory on Tuesday at Terry. The game was decided quickly as the team exerted its will early with 15 runs in the first three innings. Stephanie Money racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Longhorns. Also contributing to the offensive surge were Kayte Martinez, Madison McDonald, Lupita Nowak, Alyssa Curts and Emily Rimes. Alexis Tovar looked sharp on the rubber. Terry managed just one hit off of the Longhorns’ pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out six during her four innings of work. The girls take on Angleton this Friday at the Ranch at 6:30pm.

JV – JV softball came home with a win last night. London Diller was great on Tuesday, throwing a no-hitter in the Longhorns’ 15-0 victory over Terry. Not a single Terry batter was able to locate Diller‘s pitches during the game. She struck out nine batters and walked none while recording her momentous feat! Sixteen runs in the first three innings helped the JV blow out Terry. An RBI single by Clair Campbell, a walk by Diller, and a two-run triple by Parker McCarley in the first inning, a groundout by Jewelisa Zamora and a two-run triple by Diller during the second inning helped George Ranch put runs on the board early. The Longhorns tacked on another five runs in the third when Emma Glose singled, bringing home Cienna Cantu. That was followed up by Campbell’s single, scoring McCarley and Glose.
