The Varsity baseball team completed district play Friday night with a 10-0 victory in 6 innings over Terry. The Longhorns completed their undefeated district season as they honored the Senior players: Kenny Barzilla, Cam Boudreaux, Stone Garrett, Kyle Owen, Will Gay, Grant Page, Wesley Thompson, Andrew Hawkins, and Carlos Elizondo. In the game, Kevin Kopps and Jonathan Kastens combined for a no-hitter on the mound. The offense was led by Gay who went 2 for 3 with 2 doubles and 3 RBI’s. Boudreaux had 3 hits, Garrett had 2, while Alex Shaver, Owen, Kastens, and Garrett Gray each had hits. Kenny Barzilla had the walk-off game winning triple. The Longhorns will take on Galveston Ball in Bi-District Playoffs this Thursday starting at 7:30pm here at the Ranch. They will then travel to Ball on Friday for Game 2 of the series with Game 3 location, if needed, to be determined. All tickets are $5.
