The Longhorns started off slowly on Friday night by trailing Morton Ranch 14-7 at halftime, but during the second half Xavian Marks gave the offense a spark by running a 90-yard touchdown in the third quarter that tied it up 14-14. The offense then poured it on by putting up 3 more touchdowns by Darius Anderson and Timon Nolan, which gave the Longhorns the lead in the fourth quarter. The defense also came on strong by holding Morton Ranch to 73 total yards in the entire second half. On the defensive side, Tessilym Anifowoshe had 2 tackle for loss, 1 sack, and 5 pressures. Saivon Valencia also contributed with one sack and two tackles. The final score was your Longhorns 35 and Morton Ranch 21.
