The Longhorns won their first round playoff game versus Elkins on Saturday night. The offense started off slow, but Xavian Marks was able to score during the first quarter with a 38-yard touchdown run. The defense played strong during the first half by holding the Elkins Knights to only 78 total yards and one score. During the second half the offense was able to put it together by racking up 476 total yards and 4 touchdowns. Timon Nolan ended the game with 172 yards rushing and 3 touchdowns, while Xavian Marks had 118 yards and 2 touchdowns. The defense was led by Kingsley Keke and Arian Torres. Keke had 3 sacks on dual-threat quarterback and Texas Tech commit Jonathon Giles. Keke also had 4 solo tackles. Torres led the team with 15 tackles and intense play on special teams.  The final score was George Ranch 35 and Elkins 20.
