In their opening season match on Friday, August 21st the Varsity Longhorn Tennis Team defeated the Katy HS Tigers. The girls swept all their matches and the boys fought hard to win 6 of their 9 matches. Players of the match were Alessandra Jara, Jake Berry, Ryan Cao, and Bryce McKinnon for battling hard to get to third set tie breakers. The Longhorns will continue their season on Saturday morning verses Friendswood HS. District play will open next week for both the JV and Varsity tennis teams.
