Our very own Longhorns faced off with Morton Ranch High School this past Friday night at Traylor stadium defeating them 44 to 19 winning our 3rd game in a row! We got off to a fast start scoring 28 points in the 1st quarter. Alex Fontenot got things rolling by sprinting for 67 yards on his first carry and a Longhorn TOUCHDOWN!! This was one of Alex’s two touchdowns of the evening. Also adding a pair of offensive touchdowns was Josh Scruggs who had some huge holes from the offensive line. Defensively, the Longhorns were very stingy giving up 6 points in the first half and 19 points total. Jairon McVea scored defensively for the second time this year taking an interception all the way back for 6 to cap off the victory. This Friday we take on Port Arthur Memorial High School, game time 7:00 pm at Memorial Stadium. We look forward to seeing you there.
Take the Fan Bus to the PA Memorial game this Friday by completing the registration form below and dropping it and your payment off at the Student Service Window. The buses will leave at 4:00 PM and will make stops at the new Baytown Bucee’s both ways. Students are only $10 and adults are only $20. This includes the bus ride, your game ticket, and a t-shirt!
