Saturday a few of our Longhorn Varsity boys track and field team competed at the Bubba Fife track meet in Katy, Tx at Tompkins HS. The Boys Distance Medley Finished 11th with a time of 11:39.84 The relay members were: Hunter Davis, Hunter Breeze, Brett Mottin and Josh Triesh and the 4×800 placed 10th. Members were Hunter Davis, Hunter Breeze, Brett Mottin and Josh Triesh. In the 100m dash, Jairon McVea competed but due to technical difficulties the results haven’t been posted. In the 300h LeRoy Franklin posted a Personal Best of 40.00 seconds and placed 2nd over all. What a way to open up the season. The Longhorns will be competing this weekend at Seven Lakes High School. Come out and support the team as they put on a show.
