The boys golf team finished first place in the Region 3 preview golf tournament for the second consecutive year. The team shot a 312 on day one and 317 on day two to claim the title at River Ridge Golf Club. Matthew Maier 74-79, Marcus Lopez 83-75, Zane Warren 78-82, Chris Lopez 77-85, and Adam Garza 88-81 brought home the gold medals. Tenzin Palkyi finished second place individually at the region preview. Her rounds of 77-77 put her one shot out of first place.
