The Longhorns Girls Varsity Cross Country team finished 9th overall out of 16 teams at the Sven lakes invite. It was great weather for plenty of season and personal best this second meet of the season. Theresa McComiskey led the way placing 23rd out of 138 competitors, Ruhi Patel placed 62nd, Freshmen Brooke Johnson, Alyssa Heikkila and Sydney Delgado placed 66th, 74th, and 75th respectively. The girls Junior Varsity placed 11th out of 18 teams overall. Top 5 runners for George Ranch with all setting personal records were Cami Lidisky, Sienna Espindola, Hayley Lindtsrom, Elizabeth Sanachez and Ramsa Kazi. Both teams will compete this Friday at the Galveston Beach run invite.
