xctrackThe girls Junior Varsity Track team set the tone to reclaim their throne with their first track meet of the season. The Longhorns Scored 259.5 to Foster’s 91 2nd place points and Lamar’s 77 points for 3rd. That made a 168.5 Margin between first and 2nd place. Recognizing the to 3 placers in field events were:
Sharrell Odems 3rd in long jump; Stephanie Chukwu 1st and Robyn Chukwu 2nd in girls triple jump. Ann Rabich won the girl’s High Jump setting a Personal record of 4’8″. In girls Discus Amaka Ngwaba placed 2nd overall. Starting off with the girls 3200 meters Alyssa Heikkila and Ramsa Kazi placed 1st and 3rd. in the girls 800 meters Jada Dillard placed 1st overall and Ava Breeze came in 3rd overall. In the girls 4 by 100 meter relay the Longhorns placed 2nd with Kaitlyne Kador, Harmony Harris, Savannah Creech and Annalisse Thompson. In the girls 100 meter dash Sharell Odems placed 2nd and Caitlyne Hargrove placed 1st overall in this event. In the girls 4 by 20 meter relay Kaitlyne Kador, Savannah Creech, Annalisse Thompson and Harmony Harris placed first overall in this event. in the girls 400 meter dash Amor Sheffield won the event. In the girls 300 meter hurdles, Munachi Anusiem won the event with a personal best and Kayla Randon Placed 2nd overall. In the girls 200 meters Kayla Stephney won and Savannah Creech placed 2nd overall. In the girls 1600 meter run Cami Lidisky won and Alyssa Heikkila finished in 2nd place. Rounding out the final event of the evening, the girls 4 by 400 meter relay placed first overall with Grace Wahome, Stephanie Chukwu, Amor Sheffield and Jada Dillard. Way to go girls!!!!!!
