On Thursday the Longhorn JV Softball team competed in the first day of the Spring Tournament. The longhorns dropped the first two games to Spring, 7-2 and 8-0 respectively. Jayden Smith crossed the plate for both runs in the first game. In the final game of the day, the Longhorns beat Oak Ridge 6-0. Pitching for the Longhorns was Alyssa Osadchuk. She gave up five hits, struck out three batters while walking one. Tournament play continues on Saturday.
