The JV’s victory ensured a first-place finish in the district for the team. The Varsity boys closed out their season with a 3-1 loss to Terry. The goal was scored by Freshman Erik Michel.
The boys soccer teams lost on Monday to Angleton. The JV lost 4-1 with the lone goal coming from Alec Garcia off of a Shane Swaminathan cross. The Varsity lost 2-0 to Angleton. Both teams conclude their season on Friday at Terry.
The Boys Soccer team tied in regulation 1-1 on a Christian Metoyer goal off of an Erik Michel corner kick, but lost in a shootout (7-6) to Foster on Friday night. The JV boys soccer team won 2-0 over Foster on Friday. Two goals were scored by Alec Garcia and assists came from Evan Elkins & Josiah Kaboga.
The Varsity boys soccer team defeated Calhoun HS 4-1 on Tuesday night. Goals were scored by Junior JP Roa, Freshman Dylan Nesbitt, & Senior Julian Centeno. Assists came from Junior Isaac Salazar, Freshman Erik Michel, & Sophomore Emanuel Santos.
The Varsity boys soccer team played a match against Lamar on Tuesday. The boys lost 2-0 and will play against Calhoun HS next Tuesday at home.
