JV – The boys’ JV soccer team defeated Lamar Consolidated 3-1 on Tuesday night. Two goals were scored by freshman defender Morgan Serano, and one goal was scored by freshman forward Christian Dray.

Varsity – The boys’ Varsity soccer team lost to Lamar Consolidated 3-0 on Tuesday night.

The boys’ varsity soccer team lost to Terry 5-1 on Friday. The goal was scored by junior forward Julian Centeno.

The JV boys tied Terry 0-0 on Friday. Assisting on the shutout were freshmen fullbacks Morgan Serano, Brandon Buchanon & Michele Pietropaolo, goalies Jordi Escobar & Miles Fischer, junior fullback Liam Hill, and sophomore fullback Trent Harrell.

The boys’ soccer team lost a close match 2-1 against Foster on Friday. The goal was scored by junior midfielder Jay Clark.

The boys’ soccer team defeated the Sandcrabs of Calhoun HS 4-0 on Tuesday night. Goals came from senior Matt Vasquez, junior Daniel Eke, senior Markail Carron, and sophomore Cristian Gallardo. The shutout was a combined effort by junior goalkeeper Yassine Kettani, junior fullbacks Luis Talamantes and Chad Hamp, and senior centerbacks Ulisse Minero and Ali Hasan.

Varsity – The Varsity boys’ soccer team lost to Lamar Consolidated HS 3-1 on Friday night at Traylor Stadium. Junior forward Julian Centeno scored the goal on an assist from junior midfielder Santiago Roa.

JV – The JV boys’ soccer team defeated Lamar Consolidated HS 2-0 on Friday night at Traylor Stadium. Goals were scored by sophomore midfielder Bobby Crow and freshman midfielder Christian Metoyer. Both players also had one assist each. The JV boys’ team improved to 1-2-1 in district play.

Varsity – The boys’ varsity soccer team battled to a 4-3 loss against the Angleton Wildcats on Friday night. Senior forward Matt Vasquez had 2 goals, and junior forward Daniel Eke added another on a penalty kick. Then on Tuesday, the varsity boys lost 2-1 to the Terry Rangers. The Longhorns were lead by junior forward Daniel Eke, who scored their lone goal. The boys are back in action against Lamar Consolidated HS on Friday at Traylor Stadium.

JV – The JV boys’ soccer team tied Angleton 2-2 on Friday afternoon. Both Longhorn goals were scored by sophomore forward Sergio Martinez. Both assists were made by sophomore fullback Jacob Molina. On Tuesday, the JV team lost to Terry 5-0.

Varsity – The Varsity soccer team lost 5-1 at Foster on Tuesday night. Senior forward Matt Vasquez scored his third goal of the season, while junior goalie Yassine Kettani had 5 saves.

JV – The JV boys’ soccer team lost 5-1 to Foster on Tuesday night. Sergio Martinez scored his second goal in as many games in the losing effort.

The boys are back in action on Friday at the Ranch vs. Angleton. Game times are 5 PM (JV) and 7 pm (Varsity).

The George Ranch Longhorns lost Tuesday night at Brazoswood to the Buccaneers. The final score was 3-0 in favor of the Bucs. Junior goalkeeper Yassine Kettani had 6 saves for the Longhorns, who fell to 2-2-1 on the season.

Varsity – The George Ranch Longhorns Varsity boys’ soccer team defeated the West Columbia Roughnecks on Friday night 5-0 at GRHS. Goals in the contest came from junior forward Mason Mercado, junior midfielder Daniel Eke, sophomore midfielder Cristian Gallardo, and 2 from junior forward Julian Centeno. Aiding in the shutout was junior goalkeeper Yassine Kettani with 3 saves against 3 shots from the Roughnecks and an assist from senior forward Matt Vasquez. The team improved its regular season record to 2-1-1 with the victory.

JV – The George Ranch JV boys’ soccer team defeated West Columbia 2-0 on Friday night at the Ranch. Goals came from Shane Swamanathan and Jacob Molina. The team improved to 2-2-0 on the season.
