On Saturday, the boys’ track and field team competed in the 6th annual Seven Lakes Relays. They finished 5th out of 13 teams. The track and field team started the day with Chandler Heikkla finishing 4th in the 5000 meters with the time of 16:20. Alex Shaver brought home the silver medal in the 100-meter and 200-meter dash, and Joshua Okonye brought home the bronze in the 200-meter dash and finished 5th in the 100 meters. Jonah Font finished 5th in the 300-meter hurdles. Alex Thomas finished 6th in the pole vault, and Trevion Wyche finished 5th in the discus. Jordan Janer finished 6th in the 800 meters and set a new school record at 2:00. Stanley Ikebunam brought home the silver medal in the 400 meters. The day finished with the 4×400 relay — Ethan Yeamen, Ifeanyi Amushie, Alex Everett, and Stanley Ikebunam brought home the bronze medal and set a new school record at 3:23.
