Varsity – On a perfect evening the girls’ soccer team honored their seniors in their last home game of the season. The Longhorns defeated the Calhoun Sandies in a 6-0 victory. Haley Hartnett and Jordan Shimaitis both scored two goals with Michelle Mills and Gabby Galvan both adding a goal. This win made the girls undefeated in district play and helped them earn their second district championship with the Longhorns scoring 56 goals and only giving up 1. Excellent job from all of the girls on this accomplishment!

Thank you to seniors Lillie Landaverde, Kathryn Thaxton, Toty Herrera, Raven Towns, Haley Hartnett and Julia Linton for all they have done over the past 4 years for the soccer program!

The girls open the state playoffs Friday, March 27th at 5:00pm when they take on the Lady Knights of Elkins at Mercer Stadium.
