The Longhorn volleyball team traveled to Terry High School Tuesday night and came home with 3 wins. The Freshman team beat Terry with scores of 25-17 and 25- 14. The JV team followed suit taking the Lady Rangers down with scores of 25- 15 and 25-20. The Varsity team beat Terry with scores of 25-14, 25-12, and 25- 13.. With the win, their season record is now 30-7, and their district record is 4- 0. With the win over the Lady Rangers, the Longhorns improve their winning streak to 20. Kill leaders for the Longhorns were Valerie Valerian with 10, Allyson Dernehl with 9, and Kennedy Prince with 9. Block leaders were Ambrielle Logan with 4 and Ainsley Mandell with 3. Set assist leader was Abbey Messick with 24. Dig leader was Audrey Tuttle with 20 digs. Serve ace leader was Cheyenne Horst with 4 aces. Player of the match was #14 Allyson Dernehl with 9 kills, 2 blocks, 6 digs, and 8 serve receive passes. The Longhorns play at home this Friday against cross-town rival Foster. We need your support to remain undefeated in district. Varsity plays at 5:00 followed by Freshman and JV at 6:00.
