The Longhorn Varsity volleyball team traveled to Mayde Creek High School and came away with 2 wins. The freshman team fell to Mayde Creek with scores of 21-25 and 20-25. The JV team beat Mayde Creek in 2 sets with scores of 25-17 and 25-14. The varsity team controlled the match from start to finish and defeated the Rams with scores of 25-18, 25-21, and 25-18. Kill leaders were Valerie Valerian with 12 and Audrey Tuttle with 11. Set assist leaders were Olivia Gray with 12 and Alaina Lanik with 11. Block leaders were Kennedy Prince with 5, Cassie Coker with 5, and Audrey Tuttle with 4. Dig leaders were Valerie Valerian with 11, Brianna Franklin with 10, and Audrey Tuttle with 8. Serve receive leaders were Valerie Valerian with 20 and Brianna Franklin with 11. Ace leaders were Mady Rathmell with 2 and Alaina Lanik with 2. The Longhorn varsity squad has improved their record to 20-5.
